We met Ben and The French Kitchen for our tasting menu 4 years before our actual wedding, which finally took place in 2022 after a couple of COVID related delays! Ben was consistently pleasant, calm and reliable throughout, which made the process such a pleasure. The food was delicious and plentiful, all of the guests loved it! I love that the French Kitchen can provide 'fancier' food or hearty, locally sourced food that appeals to everyone. Thank you so much for contributing to our special day.

We cannot recommend The French Kitchen enough! We used these guys as our caterers for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and they were absolutely incredible. Everything from the canapés to the service of dessert was brilliant, the service was 1st class and everyone was so helpful and polite. We chose the beef for our main and it was BEAUTIFUL!

We are beyond grateful and so so happy with our choice to have you guys cater for us. I will definitely be recommending these guys!

Searching for the right caterers for our daughter's wedding. The French Kitchen has not disappointed. At the tasting, we were presented by a wonderful array of restaurant quality dishes. Gorgeous flavours and very good presentation.

The French Kitchen catered for our marquee wedding in May and we couldn't recommend them more highly. So many guests commented on how delicious and beautifully presented the food was. Ben and the team went over and above to make sure everything ran smoothly - they were a fantastic help in the set-up in the days prior and couldn't have been more accommodating and professional on the day! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

The French Kitchen delivered the single best wedding breakfast I've ever experienced, and we were extremely lucky to have them at our wedding! The Duo of Somerset Beef was the talk of the town, and everyone loved the shareable dessert plates. Ben was extremely professional and excellent to work with, and the whole team treated our guests with the same respect and care they would a guest at their own home. We would strongly recommend them for your wedding!!

The French Kitchen catered our September 2023 wedding at Brympton House and we couldn’t be be more pleased that we chose them.

The whole team was fantastic from the very beginning. We had lovely tasting experience where they were happy to answer all our questions and walk through all the dishes with us. They offer an extensive but thoughtful menu that not only got us very excited for the wedding, but was also well constructed to suit different guests’ dietary needs. The food was delicious and feels worthy of a special occasion.

When we chose French Kitchen after our tasting, Katherine and the team were very communicative and helped us build a menu that made sense for our day and logistics, taking into account the weather, the seasonality of the ingredients, and the venue. They were exceptional about accommodating dietary needs and made us feel very secure about serving guests with significant dietary restrictions.

On the day, the team was amazing - kind, attentive, responsive. The servers were impeccable, a well-oiled machine. We were not surprised to find that the food itself was absolutely delicious, just as remembered from the tasting nearly a year prior. It was certainly a highlight of the day - our guests were raving about the food and were very full for a night ahead of dancing and merriment.

Cannot recommend Katherine and the whole French Kitchen Team enough. They were caterers for our wedding. From the 1st tasting, everything in between to the big day, they were a joy to work with. Always friendly, polite, responsive, highly professional and accommodating to our needs. The standard of food and level of service on the big day was exceptional. This wasn’t only noted by ourselves, however many (if not all of our guests). Guests are still stalking about “those canapes”.

We chose The French Kitchen as our caterers for our wedding at The Bishop’s Palace in Wells in September 2023.

Right from our initial enquiry, through to our (many) questions in planning for the day, Ben the Events Manager was very responsive and accommodating – which put us at ease throughout.

We had our tasting session a year before the wedding and the whole experience of the tasting was so fantastic, in this we knew we had absolutely made the right choice in The French Kitchen.

The setup day and wedding day itself was run like clockwork – every member of staff was smart, friendly, polite and very helpful. Welcome drinks were proactively topped up and the canapes were continual and plentiful.

The wedding breakfast itself was absolutely faultless – soon after call-through the service commenced, each and every dish coming out of the kitchen was prepared perfectly and looked absolutely amazing – tables were served together and no-one was left waiting to start.

We have received so many positive comments from our guests in the past weeks complementing how good the food and service was, and it being the best wedding breakfast they’ve ever had – a sentiment we share too.

Into the evening the team ran an efficient bar service and a plentiful selection of evening buffet food.

We chose French Kitchen to be our caterers for our wedding on the 2nd June based on good word of mouth reports and tasting their delicious canapés at open days, they were absolutely brilliant and the food and service was amazing. Ben was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process from initial enquiry, through to the wedding tasting and the big day itself. On our tasting Ben was happy to take on board our feedback and everything was actioned. In the last few days before the day we had more queries and Ben was very accommodating and got back to us straight away. On the big day itself, the staff were amazing, very professional and efficient. During the drinks reception the team went round topping up everyone’s glasses, the canapés were delicious and seem to keep coming! During the wedding breakfast, again the staff were very professional and the service was so smooth and completely faultless! We were actually ahead of schedule! We got so many comments from our guests on how delicious the food was. It was also greatly approached how people with dietary requirements were accommodated for so perfectly.
